On Friday evening some of the EOI classmates meet together to celebrate a ‘end of the course party’ on a singular restaurant in Gràcia. It’s name: “El Racó de les bruixes”, that could be translated into english as “The Witches Corner”…
The place is decorated as it was a kind of a cave or a wood in wich witches, and sorceress cook their potions and write their spells… it’s not too big, but it’s confortable enough to stay for two or three hours eating and enjoying with friends.
Montse, our teacher at EOI, go into retirement on July so we tried to make her a party to celebrate the end of the course and the happy beggining of her new free life as well!
We bought her a beautiful and colourful basket of flowers with a greetings card from all of us! Montse, seemed to me very happy and pleased to be among his students in other place than in a classroom!!
It was reallly interesting to listen her relating us her experiences about her travelings! As I was hearing her explanations I thought about my own feelings and desires related to work abroad: in an unknown place, as a foreigner and doing my best each day to move forward… and that challenge reminded me when at the age of 20 I flew for the very first time to Great Britain in order to help my dad as a translator in several meetings he had arranged with his english customers… it was quite difficult for me at that time, but I still remember that experience as one of the most useful ones: both in terms of professional and – most important – personal development.
So, I’m quite sure about that, as soon as I finish my pendings here, I would like to fly away and start again on a new country to know more about people, places and customs…
Montserrat, you probably won’t read this post at all… but I really thank you for this year at the EOI, for your wise speeches, for the experiences you told us and for your never ending vitality!!
I’ll try to follow your steps, I promise.

I have no time… and not in the mood neither… got bad news yesterday
… but your post – as always – deserve an aswer, so here I go!
“You don’t need to apologize for your english angel…you did it awesome!!
)
I had the opportunity to talk with you, Anna and Fidel about this matter over ther dinner… and in some way you gave me the impression too that it’s something you have always wanted to try – althought you said you’ll probably get a little scared about having to take such a decission – but never had the opportunity to do it… and I’m afraid that these are the kind of things you won’t forgive yourself if you haven’t done it before you get old… I really hope you can accomplish your wishes too, and I’m not talking about your day-a-day whims but the most important: the ones you truly desire… and perhaps you don’t dare to mention it.”
Thanks to you for visiting me again Ann… :*
Hi, Noël!!!!!
I´m so happy because you spend us a few lines in your block! thanks!!.
You´re right, the dinner was fantastic and the teacher was so happy! I saw a very independent wowan and she´s full of life. In this case, her age doesn´t corresponds with her young spirit in my opinion.
I think that you need to know people from different cities and thoughts, and that you have all “The circumstances” to win and to have “a very Good Luck”.
I´m sure that this year It´s perfect for you, cause you don´t have children yet……)))))))))
When you´re older, you have more obligations and it´s a little harder than when you´re younger.
So now is your time!!
Sorry for my English, I tried my best to write to you!
You have your way in your hands!!!!!!!
Lot of Loves!!!
Ann@
